Sorry I missed the game. Was going to play but ended up eating dinner late and missed it and I have to miss the buyin as it is on a night I am not home.



Congrats to everyone who cashed. I dont recognize a few of the aliases on that list but do recognize quite a few of those cashers from the leagues.



I heard we had 82 registered for this game. That is a great turnout for a forum game. We havent seen that big of a turnout in a while. Hopefully many of the FL members were in that list of registered and we can get a great turnout for the freeroll league game in August.



And hopefully we get a great turnout for the forum buyin game we have on pitbull on the 30th.

I sent out an email to all PA members a few days before the Pitbull Forum Freeroll with all the info/password for the Pitbull freeroll and buyin game. Are you all receiving it?

I do know for the league members using Yahoo, that some have had problems even with my league emails ever arriving. Dont know what it is about yahoo but does seem like something is stopping my league emails from ever arriving (or they arrive like 2 days later). Though this problem with yahoo emails doesnt seem to affect all those using yahoo with the league and it isnt as bad as it was in the past. Some do still have problems receiving the league emails here and there who are using a yahoo email address.



So it is possible that the bulk forum newsletters, while not using same system as my script for the leagues, is having similar problems with getting thru to yahoo email addresses being would be going thru the forum server to send.



As for my reminder emails that went out, I tried to get it out 24 hours prior but I had some things to do that day and was gone. Plus I had to remember we had the game (doesnt stand out on my calendar like league games do). I double checked the time it went out, and I emailed those reminders approximately 22 hours prior to the game which is pretty close to 24 hours prior and it wouldnt have gone out much sooner than that even if I was home.



The reminder for the buyin will go out approximately 24 hours prior as well as I probably wont send it out until the buyin league game we have the night before has started. So that will put it being sent close to 24 hours prior, maybe a little less than 24 hours prior. And I do know that for buyins, most wait til closer to start time to register so sending too much sooner doesnt always make a difference.



And the double send was just that some members are in both leagues, so they end up getting it twice as I cant only send to FL members and then remove FL members from the BL list when I send to that list.
