Former head coaches of Aggie football return as honorary captains....Morrow out....Childress named to Texas Sports Hall of Fame....Four players receive Aggie Ring....Flyover pilots are Aggie grads...."Aggies Can" food drive coming up....Team eager to get Big 12 schedule going.

The six retired former head coaches of Aggie football over the last 50 years will serve as Honorary Captains for the Baylor game September 29 at Kyle Field. Jim Myers, Gene Stallings, Emory Bellard, Tom Wilson, Jackie Sherrill, and R.C. Slocum will sign autographs in The Aggie Fan Zone from 9:30-10:30 a.m., and then be introduced to the crowd before the 11:30 a..m. kickoff. The game is on regional cable TV, Versus.

FOX Sports Net selected our game against Oklahoma State at Kyle Field on October 6 for its 6:30 p.m. regional telecast. The other Big 12 games on TV that date: Kansas at Kansas State 11 a.m. on FSN, Oklahoma-Texas in Dallas 2:30 p.m. on ABC, and Nebraska at Missouri 8:15 p.m. on ESPN. All times are Central.

At Miami, 57 played....After evaluation of the game video, the coaching staff selected no players of the game.

The national telecast of our game at Miami will be carried on 12th Man TV at Kyle Field. Kickoff on ESPN takes place at 6:45 p.m., Central time, Thursday, September 20. Gate 14, the only entrance, opens at 6 p.m. Admission is free. Fans can sit in Sections 112-137 in the lower level of The Zone. A concession stand will be open in the north concourse. The Association of Former Students and the Student Government Association collaborated with Aggie Athletics for this event.
