By this few lines, I would like to make a discreet homage to Mister Helmut Newton, died 2 days ago.As a digital image retoucher, I have worked on his pictures for Thierry Mugler Company. When I received the original pictures of Helmut Newton to print it for the fashion Mugler calendar, the beauty of those pictures invaded me. I was dreaming. The beauty of his work, the talented way of capturing the "beauty instant" and the art of not making a picture but an Image, was there. Yes, Helmut Newton made Image with a big "I".I am devastated. A Master is gone.Photography community will be for a long time in mourning...Marc-André.
