The Civic Media Center has hired a new Co-Coordinator. Sylvia Arnold will be filling the position previously held by Joe Richard. Sylvia is a sophomore at Santa Fe Community College. She is studying art history and plans to attend the University of Florida during the 2008 spring semester. Sylvia became involved with the CMC through the knitting circle held Monday evenings. She immediately wanted to volunteer to learn more about social issues and to help inform others. She hopes to inform more groups within the Gainesville community about alternative viewpoints and the Civic Media Center....
